“Borovoye” seismic station (BRVK) of IRIS/IDA network
BRVK seismic station of the global IRIS/IDA stations network is located at “Byurabay” settlement of Byurabay region, Akmola area. “Borovoye” seismic station is located within Boroboye intrusive massif of alaskitic granites of late Silurian – early Devon period breaking formations of Archean, upper Riphean and Cambrian periods.
Seismic station sensors – STS1, STS2 and accelerometer FBA23 are installed in a shaft. Recording instruments: 26-bit (for seismometers) and 26-bit for accelerometer ADC Quanterra Q330HR are installed near the sensors. Sample rate: 20 samples/sec/channel for channels STS1, 40 samples/sec/channel – STS2 and 100 samples/sec/channel for accelerometer. The accelerometer operates in gated mode. Seismic data are digitized according to GPS.
Response and phase characteristics of the installed seismometers are here.
